Got a flat tyre, pulled up within 100 metres but the 55 aspect was lunch by that time.![]()
Got it all muddy...
1600km trip out to Norseman from Perth for an extended long weekend. 5 days on gravel roads and bush tracks with one brief return to civilisation for some fuel. Other than going in to Norseman for fuel we saw one other group of 6 cars.
Great trip and the car went well. One slight issue on the drive out of Perth. After 4 hours of the wipers on high, the drivers came loose. Just needed a quick tighten and I was away.
I must say my new dobinson/bilstein combo handled really well. A fair bit of corrugations plus some fast gravel tracks and it handled it very well, despite the load.
The foxwing was a great investment too and helped with the one night of rain we had.
Now the hard task of cleaning it...

Drove it to Albury. Sung it's praises the whole way while SWMBO complained saying she would prefer to be in her territory. Anyone want a wife? Only slightly used. Likes ford's....
Nanocom had dummy spit last night.
It was in instrument mode, it beeped so I looked, lots of strange numbers then it went into a loop trying to reboot.
Plugged it into the laptop when I got home and it booted up ok.
We'll see what it does today....
New transfer case. Quiet as a mouse now. Cheers
