What happened to your Discovery 2 today?

Rear fog globes should be 21W if incandescents .. so basically as bright as the brake lights!

Like Tombie said, LED reverse bulbs make a hella'v'a difference with visibility when reversing.
Don't need to be canbus either(like the indicators, or brake bulbs need too).

New starter motor, new alternator 3 days ago. D2, TD5.

driving today, S ,M lights came on, then the ABS light came on, then the traction control light on, then the down hill decent light, all gauges stopped working head light went dull then engine shut down, TD5. jump started the car, multi meter showed no charge

Help, any ideas, a fusable link some where maybe, this is my daily and seems to be getting more unreliable by the day, but I like the thing.

Any decent reliable honest mobile auto elect in Adelaide?.

..... today I fitted a new heater hose (thanks Mario) then topped up and bled the cooling system. Oh! the joy of having the 'right' tools for the job courtesy of my mechanic son.

Multimeter on battery or alternator too?

Can make a difference.

I think there's a really obvious large/100Amp(??) fuse near the front of the engine fuse box. Can't actually remember the exact specs, other than near the front of the fuse box, and it's marks on the inside of the lid.

Not needed just pop the reservoir out and hold it higher job done

Well! Thanks rangieman, you are right of course! - but it’s more than just a funnel and is my son’s new addition to his tool box and he today has had his first opportunity to use it..

Check the earth connection just behind the battery box too. Gave me some issues.
