finally got snowy going with the new head hose's etc and running at a lovely 82deg so will swap in some cat cool this weekend since there is no leaks.
now just need to put money away so i can get the injectors rebuilt or preferably new ones as one is dripping

also got the roof leak fixed around the top of the A pillar reason for leak the body there has 3 different bits of metal all meet and 2 of them are not spot welded to the pillar, so cleaned out all the old body filler and injected in to the gaps marine sika flex

now just gotta stop the leak on the passenger floor have sealed the air box vent to the body but half tempted to just block it off and have on reserc all the timeas its the only spot i can see what could possibly get in.

and the other job for the weekend is fit some sound deadner to roof while the linning is out and put the new head linning on the linner

Under the plastic plenum thingo is a vent to the cabin (is this what you are referring to?). In heavy rain the vent can be inundated. I made a shroud from lead flashing to shield the vent from above (like an awning). Have not had a wet passenger floor since.

Driving to Adelaide on Monday, head wind, 115Km/h winding up for Accommodation hill, big truck goes past and takes my A pillar cover with it! Watched it shatter in bits behind me as it bounced down the road. other than that good trip. Off to Bendigo this week, another 800Km round trip.

Talk about coincidence . A rock hit my RH A pillar cover on the way to Brisbane last week. Broke it in half ,and the top bit sort of bowed out, particularly since where the plastic rivets hold it had been monstered by a windscreen fitter. I filled the rivet holes with glue to hold it temporarily.
    Group buy?
Also I have to check my wastegate to see if it is seized closed as I am getting 25PSI when the cruise flattens it.
Strangely no big miss although Offtrack did mod the ECU to accept higher PSI. At 25PSI it did give one hiccup.

Coming back from Port Macquarie this morning the EGTs were down around 500C flat out with the 24-25PSI.
I LIKE IT, but something has changed so I had better check the wastegate and the actuator.
    Regards Philip A
