Replaced rear brake rotors with some very not shinny black jobies.
Drove to Hell's gate & back to check out the brakes & get a few kids out of SWMBO hair.
Didn't brake hard enough to say it is braking better but it is certainly braking more smoothly.

Replaced the fuel filler rubber on Chaffy today as the old one was turning into goo.

also found the noise that had been annoying me. Thought it was a clutch throw out bearing. Turned out one of my silicon hoses leading up into to the turbo had split. They. Were SAMCO silicon hoses purchase about 5 years ago.

Done about 50000 km on these.. Bit disappointed as these were supposed to be top quality.

Any one else experienced silicon hoses splitting?.

that's a bit disappointing as the standard hoes would have probably lasted that long, would have thought silicon would have been better lasting , suppose it depends on how many layers of webbing there are reinforcing the silicon hose.

On returning a few hours later we found him asleep in his natural habitat... such trooper in hot weather taking us to and from beaches.... did a great job getting us in and off the beach yesterday.... even had the wife saying ‘he really is good off road!’
