Kingchrome Lok-On sockets!
I have the 3/8th set, and the sockets so far have been great. 3/8th drive ratchet broke tho. Cna be fixed, but the gear parts are exxy relative to the price of other 3/8th drive ratchets.
I rounded the heads of the fan pulley hub .. panicked and tried various other so called locking spanners. Zip!
Bursons chap(walking distance from home) reckoned if it didn't work, bring the set back, and get my $s back no questions asked.
Kept the set as it undid it them with ease.

Kincrome lock on set is good but there is one down side in that when in tight positions they require more angular space to lock on to operate due to fewer 'points' in the socket head. The ratchet head is also weak...mine busted but I had an old Sidchrome one lying around so used that. Their ratched spanners also have a design fault. ..but that's another story😎
Lifetime warranty does also have limitations as I found out...what is a lifetime?
Mine must have been maybe 6 months old or so, and the inside part of the ratchet snapped.
It went to KC, took for ever, in the meantime I ended up getting another ratchet, got the email that the broken bit wasn't covered under warranty due to "misuse/overuse" or whatever BS reason they gave.
yeah, sure ... lifetime warranty.

Funny, a long time ago I had to remove the head of a Cordia Turbo which AFAIR had a large hex head onthe bolts.
So I bought a Kingchrome hex key with 1/2 inch drive.
MAN those bolts were tight. The only way to move them was with a 3ft length of pipe over a 2ft or so socket handle. I sheared the hex drive in half and Kingchrome replaced it no worries.
Now that was really misuse.

KC ratchet spanner have a design flaw which KC sales reps well know about. You might get lucky if the rep/store looks after you if it fails. The reversing pawl if pressured externally eg when using the spanner in a tight space can fall out and can fall out even during normal use.
I had a long conversation with their Vic/Tas sales manager about this and as advised sent them the failed ratchet units x 3 plus a split socket and fractured thread die and have not heard anything back. That was last May😐
Really love the ratchet spanner for speed/convenience but hang onto you old quality Aus/USA/European made stuff...you will need it one day☺
I took mine back to KC in Scoresby(head office). Left it with them to do their assessment, and said they'll contact me.
I knew exactly what they'd say tho, and to be honest I reckon I did overuse it when it broke. Wrong tool for the job.
Although in saying that now, they do supply large sockets in the 3/8 drive kit, so the implication is that a large nut(I think 21mm) would imply that the rest of the tools are up to the task of the other bits in the kit.
it's not unreasonable to expect a couple of hundred Nm on a 21mm bolt or nut.
Never had any issues with the supplied 'breaker bar' solid wrench, and I reckon I've over used that in some instances too.
I think I was doing brakes on brothers D2 when the ratchet broke. The Lock-On sockets seemed just a little more secure having to work blindly on some of the bolts.
