Mmm i spent ages putting the rev sensors in mine and they have never worked. I suspect the spare wheel is now within range as the bumper is higher than the original. Or the steel is causing a problem. I would not bother as it is a lot of work and may not function correctly.

I stupidly backed into a power pole at King Ash Bay and did nearly 3k worth of damage to my D2a because of that useless Plastic bumper.
When I got back home I got the damage fixed and a Steel bumper fitted all for a piddling $400 in an excess fees to the insurance company
I had an ARB bullbar fitted when I first bought the truck because the front bumper was pretty " Ordinary" in my opinion and I usually travel where roos are a problem But I never considered that the rear bumper was as useless as it is.
Now that I have a steel rear bar fitted the D2a is now as it Should Have been when it left the factory.

The D2 plastic with steel reinforcing was actually strong when new. A Pajero hit the rear of my D2 hard at a red light when the D2 was only a couple of years old lot of damage to the Pajero. Plastic bar fared very well. With Sun damage they turn into brittle pieces of black rubbish. I like my APT steel bar.

    Cheers

    TPMS

My Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) arrived yesterday. I had a catastrophic tyre failure in January. Not any more. Well after I set the low pressure and over temp warning.

I have found that the Best TPMS is to look at and feel your tyres ( for heat) every time you stop for fuel or a comfort break, I also check to see if the bearings are getting hot on the trailer/van and the car as well.

On a hot day up North the tyres will run VERY hot,,
is there a max TEMP rating on tyres?

oh,, and my caravan tyres can be set at spot on 50 all round,, ten minutes down the road and theres a 10 deg difference left to right front to back.. no ryhthm or reason to any of it... I've stopped worrying about them and just use the low pressure warning...

I’ve been thinking of getting one of these:
Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) | Tyre Pressure Monitors & Sensors
I’ve got a camera from safety Dave and have had no issues

road camber , load differences , sun position , dragging electric brakes , has to be a reason otherwise the scientific molecule in my head might explode
