    Gave him new eyes (LED). Suddenly white, rather than yellow road illumination.
    EGR on hold. SWMBO's door latch MUST be sorted first.

    Finally installed the catch can a few weeks ago... checked it on the weekend.... no free oil ... but certainly catching vapour...

    Well done. You might like to think about a bracket to hold the hose up and away from rubbing on lots of other bits. Looks still a bit close to the heat shield, but I did this.

    I found the same .....it takes a while for the filter media to do its thing. The coalesced oil needs to saturate the filter and then gravity takes over and the captured oil wicks out and drains away.

    new to me

    well first day with the new to me 03 td5.looking around under the bonnet and noticed a loose bellhousing bolt,easy fix just reach around behind the turbo and tighten,job done,started car and bloody hell no oil pressure,Immediate thoughts are just bought a lemon and how to tell the missus.pulled a wire out of the sender plug didn't I.glued it back in until i can get to town crises averted for now.remind me not to pull the heat shield off the turbo next time.

    Tried to drop a subtle hint in the post, Prado and keys🤣

    Got a 2010 Prado GXL one owner immaculate condition and low Km...
    I was set on getting D4 but have read way to many posts on issues and cost of repairs etc.... probably bias as the guys with no issues just drive them!!
    And can’t argue with the resale value of a Prado it’s insane how they hold there value!!
