We went along Rockey Track in Toolangi State Forest. The three amigos popped in and ran off with the traction control! An engine restart recovered the traction control. This happened later on and did not go away with an engine restart. Locking and unlocking the car seemed to do the trick (I think) At least the traction control came back. No faults logged in the SLABS, according to the Nanocom. I only winched out twice! The other Discos had 2 inch lifts some has larger tyres 32 inch. I am thinking of getting a lift, Just longer springs maybe, or put air springs in the rear, with a 2 inch spacer.
Sadly the Nanocom's screen broke. I can get a new screen from eBay. Fitting it may be a hassle. I guess the local phone repair place could fit this for me.
Seven of the 8 vehicles on today's trip were D2s. It were a grand sight with all these D2s in convey. What is the collective noun for D2s? A jaunt?
The eighth car was a Nissan Patrol with what looked like a 6 inch lift and 35 inch tyres.
This was my third trip to Toolangi. The first time I did not break any thing on the car!
