After having a good look at the hoses, covered in dust, I did see pink coolant colour arounf the oil cooler blanking plug. Tomorrow it is remove the turbo heat shield and fix this. Hopefully just a tighten. The parts are only 3 years old or so.

The clutch bearing is silent. I call that a win!!

Fingers crossed a nip up works.

I used a silicon blanking plug just because of the proximity to that hot spinny thing.

I have a short piece of hose and an aluminium plug. The silicon one just fits over the end?

This is it post wash. The residue did look quite clean, bright and fresh.

I'll leave the heat shield off for a few days and see it the leak has stopped.

I modified the heat shield to ease removal and fitting.

You leave the bolt in pace and just tighten and loosen as needed.

And noticed the plenum with a big crack in it. That is a tomorrow job. I think remove and fix from the rear.
