When the temp is 35C plus, not much. Airing up is a nice time to relax, especially if some of the driving has been taxing.

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

Literally nothing. I've had the outlet hose melt at the connection on a 40° day and the last trip out i did 8 tyres from flat, got home to dry it (was raining at the time) and noticed the connection on the main 12v power in was completely melted. That was the catalyst to take it out of the tackle box and mount it semi permanently.

The D2 with flares and big wheels looks awesome. There's just something about it. What happened to your Discovery 2 today?

Not today but last weekend. Carried out a full service and out of curiosity cut open the centrifugal filter to see how effective it is. Its been in for 10k and is a Mann filter.
As you can see it does a good job, although i cannot make out if this is all sludge or part paper element that some are lined with.

Getting there, ended up borrowing a mig and having a go, also bought a extra OEM used manifold and getting both set straight. I also drilled out the stud holes with a 10mm bit which gives it a bit more movement with out going over the top, going to test out how a slice works. See how we go. Crisis averted for now.

Hmmm....sourcing a blanking plate for my external fuel reg mod

So what mig wire do I use for this mix of metals, unfortunately not a good welder (both me and the machine)
