Nothing very exciting, just a little ongoing maintenance of things, a new shiny key fob off Ebay, about 10 minutes to swap the guts over into the new housing due to the loss of the button covers.
But the biggest bit was fixing the drivers door lock, I went to unlock it last week at the airport (heading home) and the door lock wouldn't unlock, tried the fob a couple of times, tried the key but it wouldn't stay unlocked (only set off the alarm twice) ended up having to open up from the passenger side, once open it stayed unlocked. Once home I pulled the lock out (after removing the window regulators, mirror etc) had a bit of a look and a fiddle, nothing seemed to help ended up raiding the donor for its lock, so after about 4 hours of messing around everything is now back working as it should

as a side note, I am currently running a straight through exhaust system, not sure if it makes much more power or not but seems a bit better on fuel, a run from Margs to the airport and back (about 740km) I used 78lt of fuel, so a hair over 10lt per 100, pretty happy with that, I know it was mostly freeway cruising at 105-110 but for a 20 year old brick I'm not complaining, for comparison we also have a 2015 3lt Prado (also auto) on the same run it uses 68-70lt.
cheers
