    Some potting epoxy can do the trick.

    I cant recall if the multistrand is soldered, but they're siliconed up as well.

    Having now driven on them, they are a little firmer than the old bridgestone duellers that I had on. Tried them down the cobblestones and it was noticeable for the increased patter - not uncomfortable or such, just a bit terser in the ride, luckily this is not my daily driver.

    Have included some pics as to the tread which is 'DEEP' and would suggest they are more MT than AT.

    The weekends job, I think I'll use the starter to get it lose, is the breaker bar to rest on top of the passenger frame rail? will use the holding tool to do it up.

    Careful the breaker bar doesn't fly off and ruin your whole day.
