Did they show/tell you where this leak is?
Can be very important to not have the trans line blow out on you "in the middle of nowhere" ... i.e. leave you stranded or totally damage the trans!
I had a small leak in the D2 at the crimp between hard line and rubber line near the front.
I knew it was there, but one of the trans lines is a total pain to remove/refit, where the connector is obscured at the trans. The other line is easy-peasy tho.
So I put it off for too long. I had the new lines waiting to go, just had to summon the willpower to get into that hard line.
Of course that small leak turned into a pop off moment as I was heading to work one day. Luckily I was just in suburb traffic and didn't damage the trans, and not on a freeway/highway at speed. The oil will get dumped in seconds and trans dusted.
A bit later nephew had a slight leak at the same point in his D2a, and we worked on a plan to fix it immediately. Next day he got himself a crimper off marketplace. We hit that crimp with the crimp tool, and worked perfectly. Also did the other one just to be sure. A year later it's still not leaking.
Point here is, if it's near the cooler end of the trans lines get it done quickly or minimise the time you drive the D2 until you get the new lines.

Not to worry, I check it and keep it topped up with oil... So, it worked fine... only it doesn't actually lift the car high enough to get the wheel off..... Probably it would if I had a flat on a concrete slab, but not on the grass where I was.
