The Hawkeye is actually VERY good in daily life.
I still have a a faultmate 2 and quite a few BB licences .. must say their td5 mapping tool is nice and the 10AS tool. But all them cables and balancing a laptop and all that on our rough roads .. forget it.
So it is a garage only tool now if I really need to do something special.
HAWKEYE PRO to share with friends is my recomendation.
ALL Land Rovers, you can really do a lot with it about 95-98% of the faultmate but no hazzle. It boots quick and I couldn't imagine doing a road test for turbo boost, MAF, MAP etc without it.
It worked so far for everything apart from old 14 CUX ECUs, I probably have to make an adapter.
Very important.. if you ever want to reprogram a 10AS with a hawkeye... Ask me first. DON'T believe what the screen says.
Once you learned how it works it is actually quite good at it.
I have a Hawkeye for a 300tdi D1. And yes, I cannot get the passive immobilisation to stop. Do you know what "Market Features" are?
Thanks,
Tom.
