I believe Hawkeye is unlocked for a D2 , with either engine.

ps, has anyone on here tried this out
    iCarsoft i930, its for landrovers.
I have both a Nanocom and a Hawkeye, correct the Hawkeye is unlocked for both V8 and TD5 no extra charge. I
have used the Hawkeye when nanocom has failed due to a hissy fit to carry out a procedure, I plugged in Hawkeye and it fixed the problem.

One thing on the Hawkeye, it can't be mounted as a dash ornament, many have their nanocom on the dash.

I carsoft has basic and limited features, spare your $ and put it towards a better unit.

the i930 was some junk from Allmakes. I tried it on a P38 and a D2 it couldn't read td5 OR BCU so it was totally useless. Got my money back thank God.

The Hawkeye is actually VERY good in daily life.
I still have a a faultmate 2 and quite a few BB licences .. must say their td5 mapping tool is nice and the 10AS tool. But all them cables and balancing a laptop and all that on our rough roads .. forget it.

So it is a garage only tool now if I really need to do something special.

HAWKEYE PRO to share with friends is my recomendation.
ALL Land Rovers, you can really do a lot with it about 95-98% of the faultmate but no hazzle. It boots quick and I couldn't imagine doing a road test for turbo boost, MAF, MAP etc without it.

It worked so far for everything apart from old 14 CUX ECUs, I probably have to make an adapter.

Very important.. if you ever want to reprogram a 10AS with a hawkeye... Ask me first. DON'T believe what the screen says.

Once you learned how it works it is actually quite good at it.

I have a Hawkeye for a 300tdi D1. And yes, I cannot get the passive immobilisation to stop. Do you know what "Market Features" are?

    Thanks,
    Tom.

You can set your headlights to to time off when you shut off engine, so you can walk safely to the front door without fear of the boogey man in the dark.
stop the key in and door open chime.
    Cancel some warning chimes.
