RE the cup holders if you have a slim enough GPS or small tablet you can cut it apart and have a slide out/drop down mount for it. Mines in pieces ATM, made it work, just need to pull the tablet apart to make it 1.16" narrower to fit.
Picked up the trailer from Glenthorne trailers in Kenwick December last year, it a customised Off-Road version of one of their deluxe models. I upgraded the suspension to full independent Gaffa Suspension from Martins trailer parts; it’s rated to 2000kg. Put a full length roof rack on the top with a custom solar panel holder which holds a 175watt solar panel, plus a full length rod and pole storage tube on the right handside. ROH rims with 265/65/18 BFGoodrich AT x 3 tires. D-Flector stone guard and tool box off EBay. Upgraded the brakes to hydraulic disk and Treg hitch. Had the Foxwing awning off my Disco mounted on the left hand side with telescope mounts to provide shade and to attach 2 x Oztent RV5 tents and 2 x Foxwing Awning extensions to it(see pictures). I built a set of draws in the rear left of the trailer that has one massive draw for dry goods. It also incorporates 12v power supplied by the solar panel to a 200ah AGM battery at the rear of the draws. This supplies a 600w pure sine wave inverter, 3 x 12v sockets, 2 x USB ports and power for the 60L Evakool fridge. It is monitored by a Baintech which gives me volts and amp usage. Have left enough room on the right hand side for a full length Drifter kitchen to be installed next month. We have taken it camping twice now since early December, first was from Perth to Esperance at Christmas at Alexander Bay on the beach, and Dwellingup (Nanga Mills) last weekend. It goes great and the setup with the Oztents is awesome. I have attached a few more photos for you to look at, will update with more in due course.
Glenthorne trailers also uploaded some video of the trailer to YouTube, use the link below:
