265/75/16 maxxis big horns

might go for a drive tomorrow and get some better pics!
I ran BFG's in that and only had 2" lift and no cutting. Did hit one radius arm but that was stop adjustment.
No trimming at all mate, doesn't even rub on full lock, they are on 16x7 inch rims, I'll get more photos tomorrow!
Picked this up in May. It came with:
UHF + aerial
roof rack
snorkel
muffler/s removed
cr4ppy nudge bar
cheap spots.
Planned:
ARB Bar + side rails + Winch (within the next three weeks)
AT's - still undecided, probably Yokohama's (thoughts?)
Steel wheels
Compressor
Fire Extinguisher
Long Term:
Long Range tank
replacement steel rear bar
upgrade of headlight bulbs
one of those spanky UAE wire grills
It has a flip down Land Rover DVD screen and head unit (under the passenger seat), when I bought it there was a disc stuck in the player - any tricks to remove this? I was thinking that a cheap Western Digital HDD media player would be the best replacement going (as I have about a million digital movies) - but all the car sound guys I talk to poo poo the idea. There aren't too many single DIN DVD playing head units around to replace it with. Any suggestions?
I have attached a photo of it in the driveway (where it spends WAY too much time) and one of it in its natural environment - Upper Stoney Creek in Byfield.
I had a Defender Utility up until recently, but I had to sell that to finance the ARB gear. We were originally looking for a Defender wagon, but this D2 came up and good, clean Defenders are very rare in these parts...... I still get a pang whenever we see a Defender.
Here's mine:
92k; bought early last year with 62k. D2a SE Auto, ACE, SLS.
Pretty extreme accessories/mods:
Extended roof rails
Land Rover Carpet *and* Rubber floor mats
Land Rover Low profile weather deflectors
Land Rover removable dog guard
Vinyl spare wheel cover
+50 globes in high beams
Engine Saver
Clean EGR
Am very slowly destroying the rear bumper but have managed to push it back into place so far. Will replace with something metal eventually. Otherwise, the plan is to keep it basically stock.
I also have a 90 RRC and have only recently been getting the D2 into the bush. I am now convinced it's a far superior vehicle in all regards except for the ride and my willingness to suffer panel damage.
Here's mine from a recent trip down the NSW North Coast
