Welcome to the forum. A nice looking D2a. I like the stealth black on black lettering.

Does the rear wind deflector make much of a difference to the build-up of dust or rain on the back window? Where abouts did you get it from??

Hey guys, completely honest? Wouldn’t have a clue where to get em from. A quick google search didn’t bring anything up either Show us your D2, PICS only.. Was on the car when I bought it.

No change in rain deflection from what I can tell, with regards to dust I wouldn’t know, she’s washed weekly Show us your D2, PICS only.

They are like bonnet protectors - rocking horse poo.

Supposedly they keep dust of the rear door which people found extended the time of replacing the rear latch, as the latch is very susceptible to fouling up with dust over time.

    Rear latch was already buggered.

Pushing the little pin underneath to the right of the handle and a touch of graphite powder fixed it up.

No it didn’t fix it - it just prolonged the inevitable failure. Murphy’s law - it will fail just when you absolutely need it to work. You can get a replacement latch pretty cheap online from the uk. I replace mine as a wear item every 5 years or so.
