It was awesome, having travelled through the areas they went to, and knowing what it is really like, they did well to get all of the cars through.

    Such a beautiful spot.

Hey Mick, I think like you and I, and plenty that watched it would agree, BIG set up the way he walked over and started talkin' to the big tall fuzzy one,,,,, no hand brake ETC. Then it rolled away to Japan.....

If we did those sought of jump out and communicate things whilst in s+*%..ville when we were 4x4'n.. We would not have this forum. We would all be dead. None of us are that silly. Great show though..
Bit cheese3d off that Hammond made sly anti LR comments when he own's a series 1 for gods sake and a totally worked and modified (Scorpian 4x4) Defender.

Sorry to spoil a beautiful dream but I think you'll find that it was all staged...

(as if you thought it was real anyway... )

A friend of mine was one of the consultants who helped pull the whole thing together and strangely enough I was chatting to him about it at the weekend. There's a couple of paragraphs and pics here...

Yeah course it was. No idiot even them would drive a truck down a hill like that with a busted transfer box and front wheel drive only . That would be suicide

And I don't believe Clarkson was in the the rangie so close to the edge when, passing the toyota on the road of death, no sane person would drive so close to a huge sheer cliff!
