No Genia, or Skelton. Skelton I can understand, He has some more developing to do. I guess they don't want to risk Genia in a game, that really means little in the scheme of things. With Ashley Cooper going overseas, Genia may be the man to help Hooper keep his rugby head on, if they persist with Hooper. Moore is the Captain, by rights. Interesting discussion with Phil Kearns, could he be the new manager? Everyone has an opinion. Bob

It is Counties Manukau. Big difference geographically there. Manukau is South Auckland and the Pukekohe Counties part are the surrounding Counties south of Manukau.

Manawatu is where I live. A large rural region central and western North Island and vastly superior to Manukau in almost every meaningful way.

Thanks for that, I said the same to our NZ born bar manager at the footy club, and was told to wash my bloody mouth out, she comes from Manawatu, where her mum lives, they can see the snow on a mountain, close by. Touchy, NZ women, hey. Trust SBW to big note himself in the city. Bob

Remember Serivi? He's giving back to Rugby some of the good fortune Rugby gave him, Bob [ The USA is going to be a powerful Rugby force, in the future]

White emerges as Wallabies coach candidate | Stuff.co.nz

OK, this surprised me this morning. Don't know what to think to this one...

Go the teachers of this world... This is quite an interesting episode to be watching from an outsiders point of view. The reference to Turnbul Murdoch and Packer, is that TV rights and sponsorship. Don't understand that one ... professional era fallout?

I think as Bob posted, the ARU and McKenzie need to stand firm and just move on and continue to build towards the world cup. Changing the coach now is just silly. And McKenzie is the best coach in this country and the right man for the job IMO.

The only thing that would save Beale is if a strong manager was appointed to look after that side of management. I worry about his mental health if they drop him, he's big kid who has never grown up. There are plenty like that out in rugby land, the ARU had better get a handle on how to manage them . If handled correctly, this could be a watershed moment for Australian Rugby. Now is the time to call together the elder statesmen of rugby, the Eales', Kearns', Ellas' [ he would be a good mentor for Beale] & nut out a plan to get the best result from this situation. At player level. Then they can build from there. I am feeling a little concerned for Beale, just as I'm concerned about Patston, who has suffered a breakdown.

It's not a good look for the coach to be calling out the faceless whisperers , but that's what its come to. The Tribunal will need the wisdom of Solomon to sort this out, Bob

Wallabies Quade Cooper, Christian Leali’ifano join Ewen McKenzie in backing Di Patston

Yes a mistake has been made, and i still think Beale is a dropkick. But there is two people that need help and support in all this. The ARU like NRL need programs in place to help players.

Enough talk about the messy business, this is what it's about, Bob

Rettalick, Savea, & Fekitoa are the danger men , IMO.
