Judging from what I have seen and read about the cyclist death at Springton in the Adelaide Hills, a motorist pulled out of a side road into what she thought was a gap in a social group of cyclists coming down a hill into the town. There was a substantial dent in her rear right side door where the bike hit. Until the inquest is over that is as much information as you're likely to get. The members of that group that were present are clearly very upset, and sympathy has been shown to the driver of the car who was involved in the incident.
Mine too... I taught my kids the same principle on bikes, motorbikes, cars or on foot.... if you get hit by a car - being legally right doesn't do your health a lot of good.Quote:
