I use a 12v air compressor to assist in getting the fluid back into diffs, auto etc (D2 so no dip stick). Tyre stem in lid ( no valve) plus a 10mm hose to the bottom of the container and long enough to reach the fill hole. Air in, fluid out. No suction pump required. Air off , fluid stops flowing pretty well straight away.

Jaycar sell them. I've considered buying one.

The parrot beak vise grips are great for getting a solid clamp on a nut- without burring it. I think irwin calls it a 'locking wrench'.
It's great for rounded or damaged nuts, and it's good because it grips on 3 sides. Also works great on flare nuts.
I've never actually tried it for crimping... but it would be interesting to give it a go and see how it goes!

I also have a small pair of long nose vise grips, which are great for removing spring clamps and other fiddly stuff that needs to be held. I used it to keep wiring still while soldering it the other day. Nifty.
