September 24, 2015: Police are looking for mini motorcycle riders involved in a hit and run that left a woman critically injured in Carrum Downs – caution, graphic content.

A Melbourne mother who was knocked over outside a shopping centre by youths on motorbikes has an unsurvivable brain injury, her husband says.
Andrea Lehane was struck while walking across a pedestrian crossing at the Carrum Downs Regional Shopping Centre car park on Hall Road on Wednesday afternoon at about 5.10pm.

Her husband James issued a statement via radio station 3AW, saying the 34-year-old mother of two's organs would be donated in a final act of giving.
"On Wednesday afternoon, my family's lives changed in an instant from a careless and avoidable accident," the man said.
Mrs Lehane is the mother of two children, aged two and three, and her family is reportedly keeping a bedside vigil at Alfred Hospital.

Security video released by Victoria Police yesterday showed the shocking moment she was struck down on the pedestrian crossing.
The rider of the motorbike and his passenger were also thrown from the vehicle, before they fled along with two others in their group.
Victoria Police today called on the men to own up to the "callous" incident and to come forward.
"We believe these people are local," Detective Inspector Bernie Rankin said.

"There will be people in the Carrum Downs area who know who is responsible for this.
"I think it would reflect better on them if they showed some remorse and gave themselves up to the local police station."
Det. Insp. Rankin was in no doubt those involved knew the seriousness of the incident.

"They certainly saw the event unfold," he said.
"Everyone in that group was aware what happened."
Det. Insp. Rankin said police believed the group was involved in another disturbing incident in the moments before hit and run.
He said the motorcyclists had engaged a cyclist in a game of "chicken" before speeding away.
