    yes but i didnt think there were any faults around brisbane.
    unlike adelaide which is built on 5 or 6 fault lines
    not that interplate earthquares are unheard of.

    I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

    Check out the interactive map, the epicentre is rated very strong, North Fraser & the mainland areas rated weak. Bob

    so you saying there is a fault line or fault lines are irrelevant?
    as the vast majority of quakes happens near fault lines.
