One thing is for certain, people will only believe what they want to believe. The no-attribution cut-n-paste trolls lazily pinch angry screeds, the active seekers of bad press, no-one will convince them that Tesla isn't at imminent risk of collapse. On the other side the fan boys leap on every single production guess and proclaim that their hero is saved.

In any case, the third quarter production figures are soon to be released and the markets will undoubtedly indulge in an orgy of wild speculation. All that is certain is that nothing is certain until the fat lady sings. Neither Musk nor Tesla are dead and buried just yet. It's been fascinating to watch so far, it'd be a pity if the fossil trolls won and killed the electric car yet again.

If Tesla goes under it will be their own fault and not the fault of 'Fossil Trolls' and it certainly won't kill off the electric car as Tesla are rapidly being left in the dust compared to the European manufacturers who over the next few years will flood the market with EV's as legislation directs them to do. You only need to look at the dollars Audi have invested into an almost autonomous plant to build EV drivelines to know that the EV can't be killed off by one manufacturer going under - if they do. Other OEM's are doing similar - Tesla won't need to exist to help the tech along - their role there has been played out and no longer relevant.

I'm not a 'Fossil Troll' - I like all things electric, solar and EV but I think Musk is a pillock only lining his own pockets and Tesla is doomed long term because of this.

I know you're not a fossil troll but there are plenty of them about, even on this forum. Every single forum that discusses Things Tesla is full of them spreading FUD. En masse they have a real chance of pulling down this company so that other manufacturers can go back to producing limited numbers of compliance cars whilst pushing diesel and petrol as far as they can get away with.

Anyway, love him or hate him, watching Musk's frantic antics is a good way to fill in the slow time in between jobs.

OPINION: ‘Elon Musk is a total fraud’ | News Mail

I wonder if News Ltd and the New York Post would be pleased by this unattributed copy pasta? Hmmm, who should tell them...

Anyway, it contains this miraculously sparkling gem:

the impact fully decimating half the car
With that sort of measuring precision the author must be a total genius!!!!!

On the subject of cops, Elon was going to go on the lam, but then realised his car would only go 80km's before needing a recharge, ha,ha.

On the positive side, I see the Tesla model 3 alone is now outselling all of BMW cars in the US, so it must be a success.
