Climate Change and our Land of Fire, Flood and Drought.

“Steps in the right direction are far better than none at all.”. Here’s another; “Too little too late”... this is what the Models have predicted, we’re allegedly beyond the tipping point.

Yet, historically, record high CO2 = cooling period.
Perhaps we should “keep on going” Climate Change and our Land of Fire, Flood and Drought.

There isn’t a huge line up waiting to enter the Amish. Climate Change and our Land of Fire, Flood and Drought.

Have a look at the data. Human population on timeline. Exponential breeding, growth and consumption only has one outcome; consistent of all those species that tried it before.

Think Locust plague / Mouse plague / Rabbit plague.
Massive numbers, overconsumption and eventually almost total extinction- only a few survivors.

There’s how this really plays out....

    I originally missed this one:

This site is a prime example of damaging it's own reputation, rendering it useless.

In the year 2000, NASA did publish information on its Earth Observatory website about the Milankovitch Climate Theory, revealing that the planet is, in fact, changing due to extraneous factors that have absolutely nothing to do with human activity.
When the group posts such 'information' (as the above), as a minimum they need to reveal the source of the information ... ie. who/where it was published.
A link to the article, or a pdf of it, or anything at all.
Without this kind of evidence to back up their claim .. it's just heresay .. "he said, she said" .. and the debate goes no where, and climate deniers credibility goes out the window.

Those kinds of sources of info are best avoided.

A better source of information for the debunking or denialist movement comes directly from the 'climate change scientific' community themselves.

Read this. Very revealing.... the long term view of climate science ignored by short term capitalism.

'What could I have done?' The scientist who predicted the bushfire emergency four decades ago | Australia news | The Guardian

It doesn’t matter what the excuses or justifications are, climate change is only going to become more devastating if we continue to ignore the causes.

Actually it wouldn’t hurt to consider the humble wisdom of the Amish as an alternative to capitalist arrogance.

HI all...sorry if this has been already posted.

By all the reports I am reading the majority of fires have been lite by arsonists or by lightning.

So I am not sure how this is linked to climate change

    Fires

G’day Andrew,........the ignition is not the problem, it is the amount of fuel coupled with the reluctance of land managers to reduce that fuel appropriately, ...and also the building codes have to be considered .
