My personal stance is documented on this topic - I pointed out the reality that a rhetoric that aligns with someone’s particular viewpoint will almost always be quoted.

If that shoe fits, feel free to lace that sucker up and wear it.

You keep trolling across this forum with Environmental comments and nothing else.

If you wish no challenge to your posts or opinions I would recommend keeping them to yourself. If you post comment expect any number of persons to respond. You’re being ‘vocal’ on here on an emotive topic and therefore open yourself to comment, critique or challenge of what you post, as we all are.

Let me offer a suggestion in return....
Post some LR related stuff, don’t just march onto this board and only bring just your Eco-warrior persona.

Not true. I was more interested in the New Defender initially. I’ve driven Defenders for 20 years.

...You wonder why I haven’t subscribed? ...This treatment is exactly what I expected from a motoring forum towards someone who sees the world differently from the blokey norm, so I’m not surprised I suppose.

I was hoping it would be different here, but alas it’s not really apart from a few guys who have liked and agreed with my posts and those truly concerned about global warming. You know who you are and I salute you if you stick around.

Everyone else, you know you’re only talking in circles to yourselves don’t you?

Tombie & V8 Ian, well done, another successful bullying. Nice work. You are the real men.

    See ya.

There has been NO "Bullying" here towards you at all and all Tombie & V8 Ian have done is to share their own opinions and observations, Just because those observations and opinions don't align with those held by yourself doesn't mean they are "Bullying" you.

For goodness sake Grow up and stop whining and crying foul every time someone disagrees with your point of view, This is a "Forum" and NOT your own private soapbox and everyone's views are just a "Valid" as your own and they have EVERY right to voice those opinions and views here.

Who’s playing the man now Climate Change and our Land of Fire, Flood and Drought.. If disagreeing is bullying you have a very thin skin. You haven’t partaken in discussion; you’ve brought ideology, very fundamentally different.

Not once in these threads have you questioned any of the data that presents a view outside your ideology. You were offended when a post regarding War and Famine controlling populations for Millenia was written (wasn’t hate speech only observation and free speech) and complained loudly at that point.

You attacked people generally for disagreeing with links you posted, and complained when they were tested for validity.

Best be finding a quiet corner of the globe and finding your peace and harmony there.

Jaguar Land Rover has committed to offering a hybrid or battery-electric version of all its models by next year.

Looking at BMW with 10 billion pound 10 year battery contract. Ditto for Toyota. While it will be a while before we get a real capable 4wd I think it wont be as long as we may have thought.

    Back on climate change specifically.
This is spooky. Changing to your state or location doesn't make it look any better. Link to page

So we're told that this current global change is man made, fair enough lets assume that it is, and that nothing in history has such precedence.
How do they know this(exactly) .. this is why the 4.2Kyr event is so important in the data set .. doesn't appear in the ice cores, yet they know it happened .. archeologically speaking.

So what's to say that other 'events' have also been missed as well.
Scientifically speaking, there is more likelyhood that another event has been missed(if one has, then likely others will have been). They may have been less dramatic, they may have been shorter lived.
But the consensus is that the 4200 year ago event is not in the climactic records, yet it still happened.

On climactic current trends, the alarmist's message(of impending catastrophe, and urgency of action) is simply without any foundations.
In each and every previous climactic change(both cooler and warmer) humans survived! And had done so without the benefit of having the sciences to help them see it coming, or to adapt to the coming change.
We (supposedly) do, and instead of seeing that change is coming and prepare to adapt ourselves .. instead we think we have the power to adapt the climate to our preference!

So again the data shows that in a 100-200 year period, the climate had not only warmed and cooled by approx 2-3°C variance, humans still evolved, adapted and brought forth new technologies .. uninterrupted.
For sure these would have been catastrophic losses of life .. for those that didn't want to adapt, and accept that adaptation was going to be required.
But the 'ostriches' in the climate sciences community seem to think that adapting is something that the environment needs to do ... and that we have some almighty power to do this.

In a few hundred years, this will go down in history as humankind's most monumental blunder.
Totally disagree. The current situation is far outside all previous variations.

No, I think that honour will go to those persons who recommended The Duke of York go public with his interview with the Beeb.
