Daughter was out last night. A bloke was talking to her and showing off his blue Ferrari which he no doubt thought was going to impress her. Picked the wrong girl for that one as she told him her father had a blue Range Rover which she thought was a much nicer car. Seems he has no come back for that

This could go in so many places. Trivia has other aspects for some

A drought some 5,300 miles away is threatening to leave Christmas trees bare and stocking empty – and no, it’s not the Grinch.
The Panama Canal, the go-to way for cargo ships to cross the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, is being sapped dry by a lack of rainfall.
Water levels in the Gatún Lake that feeds the canal are at ‘unprecedented’ lows, the Panama Canal Authority (PCA), a government agency that manages the 50-mile waterway.

Another ship is belly up in the Amazon River due to low water.

one other BIT is almost silly.

"Fortescue, an Australian mining company that is working to become a green technology company, reports it completed the retrofit to create the world’s first ocean-going ammonia-fueled ship. The company’s flamboyant founder and chairman Andrew Forrest arrived in Dubai last week for the COP28 conference aboard a vessel the company has named FFI Green Pioneer.

The converted PSV however made the three-and-a-half-week trip from Singapore on diesel fuel. Forrest explained, “At the moment, the regulatory landscape does not allow for ammonia ships to operate.” He told reporters that they made the trip from Singapore as a symbol to the world of the technology solutions and regulatory changes needed to decarbonize shipping."

It cannot use Ammonia as its not legal to yet. Trivial is amazing some time

It was a highly aggressive and provocative action, designed to test our resolve imo. Well, I'm pretty sure the Handsome Boy will have given them their answer.

    25 minutes for 80cents

    Vic.jpg

Love a good idea- recycling. Vic way was 20 plus minutes to install the application to use it then it did not like wine bottles or several others. What to do with my 80 cent Coles voucher?

swearing alert. RUN is mentioned- not really the point :)

Today chatting with a dad who pushes his almost two year old 5km every time I'm here. He might do the PF 1/2 marathon. His wife is due for their 2nd child 2 days before that. She ran 5km pushing the two year old so dad could run 18 minute 5000m. She gave him the pram for her last lap. She is almost 8 months pregnant !!!!! She had been running with two until she handed the pram back to her husband!
you were warned in the Title A wet run today. The cool running family is not trivial yet cool trivia!

    Deep sleep

The non exercise and alcohol risk to Dementia I knew. Happily, I like my sleep as well

But there are some other, perhaps surprising, ways you can reduce your risk of cognitive impairment as you age.
Sleep, socialising, challenging your brain, and small amounts of alcohol have all been found to improve brain health.
Neuroscience Research Australia chief executive and Brain Foundation president Professor Matthew Kiernan takes us through the latest research, and we hear from people who are trying to reduce their dementia risk.
What does the latest research say about how to reduce dementia risk? - ABC News

"Scientists have become more aware of the importance of sleep on brain health in recent years.
During deep sleep the glymphatic system is activated. "This is really a reservoir that puts all of the fluid through the brain and cleans out toxic chemicals," Professor Kiernan said."It only becomes active when we're in the deepest REM (rapid eye movement) sleep"

Professor Kiernan said it was important to get between six and eight hours of sleep a night."

Sleeping in can be a bad habit of course

4 days work for 5 days pay

Some days I wonder if math's is taught to some people.

I appreciate the idea of course unless I have to pay for it!!!! From DW NEWS. I watch Germany due to its other interesting choice to shut 20% of its Electricity Grid down which was producing 80% of it carbon free power and burn trees, coal and anything else for some of it's wacky 'GREEN' anti nuclear power party.
