For arguments sake, if the VP was 34, say.
I don't reckon the current "Pres" has got out of the House of Reps yet. Or Kindergarten..

Not a legal expert "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States." might suggest any replacement had to have the same?

I note it doesn't say anything about their Mental Stability & Name Calling but then who could have foreseen that having importance in 2020 back then.

In ancient Athens adult male citizens could participate in the Assembly, but they had to be 30 to hold any office.
They also had a great rule that the Assembly got a new chairman every day. Imagine if we tried that.
Another rule, intended to stop tyrants, was that any citizen could move to banish any other citizen for 10 years, passed on a simple majority, using secret voting. Citizens had to scratch the name on a piece of pottery and drop it in a basket.
Women and slaves could not vote.

Well Biden by all accounts is suffering from Alzheimers (Creepy Joe/Sleepy Joe/Hidin' Biden - take your pick) so he's not so great a candidate either....

A perusal of the history of Athens shows just how well that worked!

There are 330,000,000 yanks over there. One would think that it would be easy to find two better candidates to stand for election as Head of State and Commander in Chief than two geriatrics, one of whom is as crazy as a loon.

One may be crazy, patriotic loon, but the other (going by his son's laptop email saga - fully corroborated by the FBI) has been totally compromised by China and Ukraine (massive kickbacks), which doesn't make him a great choice for the top job either. From what I have heard from my family who live in the USA, their politics are just plain nuts, and the more massive scandal is the mainstream as well as social media won't report on any of it or actively suppresses it. Sometimes I'm glad I don't live there. Their political tribes need a total clean out by the sounds of it.

From what I can glean of the situation Biden won't be in the job for long before he will pack it in leaving Kamela Harris to do the main job.

She could be a better President than all the latter Johnny come lateleys rolled together.

    Shirley she couldn't be worse?

From what I was told by a political science grad last week, his take was that the unpopular pair, Biden and Harris, are sacrificial lambs, since the Dems have little to no chance of winning this time around. They are keeping their brightest and best for the 2024 election - plus they need to clean house as the party is fractured by political infighting between the moderate Dems and more extreme leftists.

Check out Helmut Norpoth's accurate political forecasts using data from the Primary elections over the last 100 years. Contrary to nearly every poll by the media, in Feb 2016 he gave Trump a nearly 90% chance of winning the November 2016 election, and this time (June 2020) Norpoth gave Trump a slightly higher chance of winning again ~ 91%. Whatever happens, it's going to be an interesting election. Besides which, the Dems haven't spent most of the money they raised this time around, so will probably put that in the kitty for next time.

As many people have said before...out of 330 million people to choose from, we somehow got these guys....plus a corrupt media. I think we all lose!
