Speaking of which, I watched an "Queensland Ambulance" Prog last night. The Ambo's conversations could have been helpful in an emergency for Viewers but the stupid Production bastards drowned it out with loud music & extraneous noises. Some one should tell the Producers of these shows that it is not just about them, but should be to also assist the public with info which may save a life.

This particular bloke was Shocked" about 12 times with a Defib. with about 5 or 6 persons on the job in the back of the Ambulance to save him.

I understood from the prog finale he made it ok but it seemed a near run thing.

The first time the bloke "came to" with the question "What the **** was that?" My turn to have a chuckle.

Last time I was back in Australia I did notice that the standard of news reports and journalism media in general had nose dived over a 20 year period. Everyone even the ABC had headed down the tabloid gutter. Sensation ruled over news information. Reporters who clearly had no idea what they were talking about

24 hour news has always been too expensive to actually do. Same everywhere not just Australia. All you end up with is the 30 second sound bite repeated again and again. Even worse when there is a story actually developing in real time and they are still doing the non news repeat

    I couldn't agree more 3T.

The ABC seem to concentrate on employing gay guys. I know, nothing new there. ie. News, Weather etc & don't get me started on the quality of female "presenters."

If they auditioned to get the jobs then there is summat wrong with the Standards &/or the selectors..

Maybe it is by the traditional Casting Couch method?

Leave/holiday time standin Cub Reporters are certainly no better & you'd think they'd try harder.

"even the ABC" ? They are the worst, as they came down from such a high pedestal.

I remember a Uk program many years ago when they got 50 people from the street and got them to try out reading the news using a teleprompter and gave each one two hours training, 90%could do it well enough to pass....and be on TV.... certainly made one realise that its nothing special and featuring them in magazines etc as personalities seems a bit pointless as nothing too special there... i will look on internet for it, I think it was ITV

SASH, even with a prompter you still need to be able to spell to use it. Nah, I still prefer the casting couch method & so much more fun provided the lyer/layee doesn't open their gob.

Seems to work ok in Canberra. Or not.

Why is it called "Eurovision" if it is about music, surely it should be called "Euro-Audio"?

So sad to see the ABC so diminished. Budget cut to shreds and real journos replaced with ex-Murdoch hacks, anyone who can play a discrimination card and kids from the AF&TVS.
    Cheers, Billy.

The is a f book group called Disabled parking wall of shame. Couldn't help myself and called a poor QLD tile shop. Ryan was the driver who was busy and in a hurry to unload. The 17000 odd people in the F book group all thought Ryan is a
