I have taken to backing into spaces in underground parking stations, just to make it easier to get out again.
Spaces are by law to a standard.
Check the standard. If they don’t comply, complain.

    2 x 4wds aren’t any worse than 2x full size sedans.

On occasions I have to bear that shame, Dave. Any Yank, or Yank derivative beats those girly Eurobusses, but Western Star is the cream of the cream.

Yes, I'm probably guilty, despite having 2 reversing cameras on the Defender.
I'm quite content to let people wait while I get it right, rather than rushing and bumping. Relax people!

Some drivers can't reverse park for toffee outdoors, let alone in a lined car Park. By the time they fiddle & faff around & eventually get in (at an angle because they have become frustrated at their lack of driving ability & near enough is good enough) the shopping day is just about over. How they would fare with a Trailer behind, anywhere else is also questionable.

How they're arranged is something else..

I've done a fair bit of data collection work for a traffic engineer (designs carparks, roundabouts, etc, etc for small and large gov, developers, blah, blah) and it is quite surprising how things can be interpreted to suit the client.
