Duck Duck Go works without verification that I am, in fact, human, but it doesn't search as well as Google IME.

Most of the recent upgrades are security related. Just remember that you need an independent WiFi source and over 50% battery charge generally.

The download might take awhile to bridge historic gaps.......... dunno. The installation usually takes longer.

Suggest you find a nice venue, pub, RSL with WiFi, etc. Take your charger, download the up grade with phone on the charger and enjoy a pleasant couple of bevvies.

Tried all that except the bevvie but it would appear to be that any thing past my one (12.1) will not load. Never got updates on my old 3gs for anything so not terribly bothered so long as it works as it does now, but thanks all the same. I don't do Banking & other like stuff.


I even tried I-Tunes but still no result.

I disabled that do da as soon as I was given mine, and just use a pin no., not that it means anything.

Thanks. Me too. It sounded like a fab idea at first but I found it more of a hindrance than anything else. The way I use the phone & the environment it is used in, suits me without a password.
