There's a type of fisheries model that I'm very familiar with, for a couple very different species in the ocean down here.

When there were 'issues' I used to get them to be run backwards and they never came close to reproducing the actual data that was inputted in the first place.

Scientists are human, therefore, could it be said that the human race is evolving equal to, or faster than, science, albeit happily?

Devolution in this case.............. none of the erroneous assumptions in this model have been addressed in any meaningful way in 15 years.

It has become more important to try to fit the data to the model, rather than the other way round.

With a nose to equal that of Benedict Cumberbatch, a palate redolent with undertones of fried haddock, a body resembling that of Jeremy Clarkson, followed by a finish only Arthur Daley could admire.

I'll 'ave Terry bring the van around.

Not necessarily. Some wine, even UK ones could improve with age. Practically on the same Latitude with the soil structure & type as La Belle France so why not, it was joined to France before the "Channel Megaflood" burst way back 450,000 years ago.
