Shopping on line is OK - except when you live somewhere that nobody delivers to!

Order on line, get exactly what you want, usually turns up the next day or so(that is if the sender avoids Aus Post).

Yep. After ringing the shop to check they have whatever, on arrival, one finds the pimple faced yoof has mistakenly IDd the part one was inquiring about "but we can get it in for you" delivery is about one week Sir.

Moi. "But you said you had it in stock (about here an adult/old lag) enters the scenario with a very helpful comment) :He's new" & about now, I am reaching for my Walter Mitty Taser if I had one to give Pimples a wakeup call.

I currently have eighteen parcels in transit direct to door.

I have a grocery order to collect tomorrow morning.
Closest I’ll get to the shop is outside the pick up door.

I gave up on buy local when the delivered price and availability proved consistently cheaper and faster than sourcing here.

The boys on occasions use the pick up grocery system, but the issue they find is some of the products are the poor end of quality, particularly fruit and veges.
And the use by dates on many products are often not the best.

Your new Working With Children Check application number is ######## This will take from 3 to 12 weeks.
Can I work while you process my check?
In many cases, you can. But in some circumstances, it is an offence to work without a valid Working With Children Check. For more information see here.
Because you're changing from a 'volunteer' to 'employee', your existing Working With Children Check card is now cancelled. Please dispose of it securely.
You can track the status of your check here.
Getting your digital working with children check card
Once your Check is approved, you'll be able to add your digital card to the Service Victoria app on your phone. It's an easy way to store and show your Check. Make sure you've got the latest version of the Service Victoria app so you can add your digital card once you get your Check. Update or get the app in the App Store or at Google Play.I have had a "Working With Children Check " since they started. Volunteer at my kids schools. It was renewed and active as a volunteer. A job required a non volunteer "Working With Children Check "
I just paid $$$$$$ for the commercial version of what I have The irony of having it for years now being checked after I paid for it made me go HMMMMMMM
