Corona Virus

People (Australians) are seeking exemptions and being given same , to fly out of the country to visit their "whatever excuse they may have", every day , mind you. As far as I know these exemptions do not include guaranteed return flights. So they expect to get a return flight and whinge like **** when they can't.

We all have hardships and before the modern era (which is not very old) of multiple daily flights from Australia all over the world , you didn't make short planned visits for any reason.

Maybe I'm hard but I think if they want to try to beat our border policy and fly out of the country in these current times , then they should suck it up big time for their chance to return home.

Yeah , I'm a hard callous bastard but I don't think I'm as hard and callous as any person who flies out clean and flies back with a covid infection

This would be one of the few occasions when Conspiracy Pushers get a pat on the back... One 'theory' is that the mRNA jab has potential to severely sicken / kill the pt, probably timed for a few years hence.... We may see a cohort of Pollies wiped out, and just think how much that will save the National Debt - NO Parliamentary Pensions to pay out ! Us Old Age Pensioners might get a few dollars rise !!!

See the previous post.... Cruise ships as floating quarantine hubs. Brilliant idea, wish I'd thought of it !

To keep such ships afloat costs a fixed amount per day, power generation, air flow, etc etc. Running them nice and slow for a two week voyage back would not cost the earth, menus could be simplified and other economies generated, - certainly cheaper than purpose-built / maintained / operated prison=villages on prime land near hospitals....

…and by at least the end of 2021 Covid vaccination travel passports will most likely be required in Australia and internationally - so essentially vaccination will be compulsory for any Australian who wants to travel too.

Legally, I'm told it's a very tricky grey area, - FORCED administration of a Experimental medication. - last human trials finish around 2022-23, AFAIK. An Emergency Use Authorisation or Aussie equivalent doesn;t mean the same as 'Approved', only to be able to legally administer during emergency and certain conditions. But naturally, no-one is going to challenge the Holy Grail, much less have the $$$ for it. Besides, lots of $$4 will buy the legal advice to get around 'co-ercive jabbing'

Biggest danger is the appearance of an approved, safe(er) treatment therapy. In the US that alone would automatically render all those jabs as .....!

The un-intended consequence is... big Pharma, which virtually means Big Vaccin Makers have a vested interest in NOT finding or funding such research for effective treatment or cheap prevention.... Or if they do, it'll be re-packaged as "New" and priced accordingly.

How do we know, ? Billy Goat is funding one such venture, taking a suspected (!) but "Radioactive" cure and re-badging/combining it.... No prizes for guessing his pricing structure !!!

Do not take the view that it's not serious, that it's resolved, all is well.... which is the reason the US 'VAERS' system is such a joke.
- estimates on reportage barely exceed 10%... with patients not knowing it exists, Doctors ditto, and the few who do...don't want the paperwork. Or refuse to. And to receive compensation.... means in effect suing the US government,. Yet they've paid out millions and millions.
We only have our GP and maybe the TGA might be interested....

A news article reported the Chief Operating Officer of the aged home with the covid cases has no idea how many of her workers have been vaccinated. You would think that would be top of the list of must do jobs. On the other hand, it is said workers did not have to tell her that. In the circumstances, mandated vaccinations for aged care workers was long overdue. Much the same as dedicated quarantine facilities are long overdue. Until we get this part right, we will always be chasing our tails.

That isn't the reason it is a joke.

It is a joke because in spite of the fact that the VAERS site itself specifically says that it is a record of adverse events that happen AFTER vaccination,not BECAUSE OF vaccination, anti -vaxers don't understand the difference.

Not only that, there is no need to prove you had a vaccine to make a entry. There is no need to provide evidence of the adverse event to make an entry. Even if those two things are true, that does not prove that the vaccine caused the event.

It is a joke, but not for the reason you suggest.

Good question . I'm thinking private. On June 2 the Qld health minister stated Qld would vaccinate all workers at state & private aged homes with Pfizer, because they couldn't wait for the Federal Gov. to do the job. I'm assuming NSW would have done the same. But it looks like supply is the problem. There just wasn't enough Pfizer to go around. Or AZ at one stage. QLD can vaccinate 100,000 a week, but only get 65,000 a week, that's AZ. Qld were reduced to holding back AZ doses because they needed supply for 2nd doses. edit and there was no guarantee from gov. of the number of doses that could be supplied.

QLD needed 583,000 doses to fully vaccinate aged care residents and workers. The Qld Health Minister said to owners of residential aged care and disability facilities to get their staff online and registered and QLD would vaccinate them all. But there were supply problems here as well, and I'm not sure whether the full vaccination was carried out , but I seem to recall the Premier saying it was. June 2 2021;
