I believe in natural selection. Karma, the spiritual principle of cause and effect.where the actions of an individual influence the future of that individual. The fact that he waited until he was really sick until he called the ambo. doesn't bode well for his future. However, as is the case in most selfish individuals, he will probably drag others down with him. I also believe in grace, the unconditional love toward a person who does not deserve it. Ergo, grace gives you good karma. But I would still love to kick him in the nuts.

Dr Chant and Mr Hazzard are to front a Parliamentary inquiry to detail their health advice on the NSW lock down. Finally, we may see what that health advice was. I wish them well.

Closer to home, but... Covid | Australia news LIVE: NSW records 233 new local COVID-19 cases; Queensland records 17 new cases - Coronavirus

Not for any normal reason is she going to resign, and hoping that she'll do it in order to be honest..... Ya must be Dreamin'.

Or don't you love the punctuation - deprived sentence...

(Apologies, couldn't resist it.... once you 'see' the un-intended meaning, it never EVER goes Unseen.)

Probably because Dr Chant has had enough. Chant is being setup to take the fall for the Govt. Chant provides the advice and then the Government decides what they are (are are not) going to do with it based on other factors they feel are important.

Could be something in that. Is it true that the health Minister has no medical back ground? I suppose it isn't really necessary, it's a political position. Dr Chant is very good friends with our CHO, in Qld. The CHO rates her highly. And that's good enough for me. If the NSW gov. pushes Chant under a bus [ figuratively speaking] the fall out could be disasterous, however politicians have an extremely high level of self preservation. This delta variant finds the fault lines in our comfortable lives, for sure.

Coronavirus cases among children are surging in the US.with some Drs seeing more critically ill pedriatric patients than any other point during the pandemic. From July 22 to july 29 new cases nearly doubled to around 72,000 , and children make up 20% of all cases in the US. This is happening where the delta variant is spreading quickly, in Louisiana , nearly 3,500 children tested positive in just a few days, and the average age of pedriatric patients dropped to 5 years old.

Is Australia ready for this? We have grandchildren , like many do, and this scares the hell out of me.

from the inflammatory article, it sounds like he left before lockdown started.
Well, if he left any time in the last 6 or 7 weeks (after 26th June) then he's broken the lock down rules. No one is to leave Sydney area from that date. If he left before then it's likely he's picked it up somewhere else like maybe the Gold Coast which I think would be unlikely.

He did not use any QR check in codes and is not cooperating with the police. I don't think they're the actions of someone who's got nothing to hide.
    Cheers,
