cynical me might suggest that the article might of written in an inflammatory way (excuse the pun), and another way of writing it could be: the man didnt believe he had covid.

Genome sequencing proves the Maritime pilot infected the taxi driver. The Pilot was fully vaccinated, the taxi driver had none. I think it's compulsory for marine reef Pilots to be vaccinated. According to my mate, there's a mad scramble to be vaccinated in Cairns now, but only AZ is available for the public.

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Yes, it would be a comfort to know the link is not still out there somewhere.

Sure, and that would be true ... because he's a COVID denier. You could right though, media often are not the best source of accurate information.

Though, it likely seems there is more to this than meets the eye based on Chant's response in the press conference this morning.

Regardless, he should still be in Sydney and not wandering across two states.

My eldest son hasn't been able to get vaccinated, but today they approved AZ for 18 plus so it's a wait until mid sept for the jab for him, even though there's plenty AZ and even if you want it now, you've still got to wait.

Qld has opened up registration for 16 -20 year olds for vaccinations, with teachers, Early education workers ,FIFO miners and freight and distribution centres to join the priority queue. The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition centre will be used for mass vaccinations, registered people only, no walk ins. Pharmacies around Qld have been cleared to give the AZ vaccine, as they all do the influenza jab. Apparently Pfizer is a little more complicated , as it has to be diluted, and kept very cold, so that is the domain of government jabbers. The Federal government is still responsible for 70% of the vaccination effort in Qld, according to the Premier. Not sure how that works.

Yes , what do you think of the Health Minister almost shoving the Doctor? in front of the mike this morning. The pressers are becoming a lttle bizarre.

The Qld Premier threatens to tighten our border up further , with Northern NSW under covid alert. ATM random checking of vehicles is occurring, all vehicles may be checked from now on. Lismore MP janelle Saffin is asking for lockdowns in her LGA. Lismore Mayor Vanessa Ekins is asking for a lockdown as well, considering Tamworth is in lock down, besides no known case.
