There was no censorship - I pointed out that it was a tasteless reference. The Holocaust is not a right/left issue.

And your reference to snowflakes is ironic given how sensitive and intolerant the Right are of views different to their own.

It is also in the General Chat section GG.. Mostly it is people sharing information. It can get a bit heavy at times I know. I guess if you want to talk Land Rover you need to be in another section.

    Cest la vie.

Come on Mick, do you really think that was a serious suggestion by AP? Think about the practicalities of what that would entail. Who would police the newly defined COVID border? Certainly not the QLD Police Force, they have no authority to do so, so the responsibility and subsequent cost would fall on NSW. For what? So AP can build up political kudos in her own state while NSW picks up the tab and has its own community divided to top it off.

NSW wouldn't stand for that any more than QLD would.

Could be a shared arrangement. The Tweed bridge is twice as wide as the current checkpoint, so it could be safe to divide traffic into two streams, to speed it up. AnastaciaP said her proposal was carefully designed to solve operational problems. NSW residents had the most to gain, but GladysB just dismissed it out of hand.

BTW get ready WA - you could be next in line for a hotel quarantine breakout, although I hope not.

The thread is called 'Corona Virus' and its in General Chat, so its probably not the right place to compare the length of our dipsticks.
Mind you, a thread called 'Show Us Your Dipstick' could produce some amusing pics. Corona Virus

i think the funny part is how it took 198km and 1 petrol stop to catch them.

Two men have been arrested following a border breach early this morning.About 1.30am on Friday 24 July a silver Holden Captiva and a blue Holden Calais approached the border checkpoint on the Dukes Highway at Wolseley.
Police signaled for the vehicles to stop however both cars failed to do so and sped past police toward Bordertown. Police followed the cars for a short distance but lost sight of them on the Highway. Back up patrols were called in including the police helicopter PolAir.
The cars were briefly sighted at a petrol station at Keith before speeding off again toward Adelaide. The cars were again sighted just out of Tailem Bend and police activated their emergency lights in attempts to stop the cars, but they refused and a short pursuit ensued.
Thankfully patrols were waiting with road spikes on the Princes Highway, just near the Tailem Bend Hospital. The Holden Captiva was successfully spiked and came to a stop a short distance away, the Holden Calais stopped at this location as well.
The drivers and sole occupants of the cars, a 25-year-old from Osborn and a 26-year-old from Brooklyn Park, were arrested and taken to the Adelaide City Watch House.
They have both been charged with failing to comply with Covid directions, failing to stop and both with driving unlicenced. They have been refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
