Panic and fear spreads faster than the virus.
I will give it 24-48 hours for a run on toilet paper and pasta sauce here in Melbourne......make sure you stock up quick...![]()
Actually would have been good if the reaction was as quick here in Melbourne when we were at the same point many many months ago.
6 days would be much preferable to almost 4 months of lockdown followed by a long wait for all the state borders to re-open again.
I really do hope the SA approach works and becomes a model for how to manage the situation quickly.
See Queensland is up to their usual tricks - State of Origin game tonight will not have any Covid restrictions, with a full house and no social distancing yet the Blues were prevented from travelling to Qld a few days before hand to settle in - so flying up this afternoon and probably have to fly back south tonite after the game.
And Qlders wonder why the rest of the country think their Covid actions are a joke - full of inconsistencies.
Bob - come in here.

A new strain , which can be passed on after 24 hours, is the call. I guess we will know within two weeks whether the call to open Lang Park up was a good one. I'll reserve judgement until then. I'm just cheesed off I didn't think of making Blue and Maroon masks, to be sold at the gate. I didn't buy land at Noosa when it was cheap, either. I see a pattern.
