I bet that lot thought of that & reckon the Fines would eventually cover the cost of buying Masks. But not just yet, let it run for a few weeks.

I bit of Oirish thinking there Tote. Deeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr. Each day seems to be worse than the day before & we are glad we don't live there & good old much maligned Adelaide will do us.

Pretty sure I read somewhere the Victorian government was distributing 3 million masks, with priority for health and aged care workers.

When something goes 'adverse' (i.e. not like how it goes on commercial TV) it's always someone else's fault.

i heard they had bought a few million to give to those that didn't have the resources to get their own..

I dunno, I'm just going on the quoted story which has a picture of a long queue of people waiting for masks (presumably), although from reports from the more localised members it would seem that the media may be wrong and there are no supply issues.

Two of my mates suggested I apply for Govt assistance that is currently giving them 3k a month....for nothing essentially😞.

Now the issue is that both if them are on paper millionaires and have incomes over 500k pa. ..in normal times.

Might as well get it now one said. Cause the govt will be coming after us with death duties or other taxes soon.

Did the Libs say they were the better financial managers and the adults in charge??

Where is the fiscal accountability now and who's going to pay for such irresponsible largesse?

No wonder Scomo wants to stay away from "work"..ie Parliament and accountability. Pity others don't have that choice!!

Yes there are heaps rorting the system and getting away with it.

The system really is a joke,NZ have a much better system.

We have no hope qualifying,and I am not going to rort the system.We could,easily,but we haven’t and won’t.
