Some people look at what is happening in the States where the people have done and continue to do the right thing by socially distancing and abiding by whatever quarantine procedures were and still are in place and as a result of this life has returned to almost normal once again and they Hate it that it isn't the same where they live.Wife and I went to Caloundra today, to check out our van site for when we go up for a few days. A nippers carnival was on, happy smiling people everywhere. I thought what a tragedy it would be if these haters got their way and COVID gained a foothold here. Like it has in NSW and Victoria.

SubscriberWhat really annoys me is how some of you here have made an issue out of the so called politics of this. No one seems to care that most Queenslanders are just glad not to have an outbreak like elsewhere. Call it what you want, luck, politics , whatever. As long as they keep doing what is working. As it hasn't been proven one way or the other of course it is an observation at this point in time. If there really is something "dodgy" to be revealed then better it is now.

Re Caloundra. Looks nice there, the images remind me of those early ones of the Gold Coast in the early days of it's existence.
One tinpot Pub & a Small zoo near the beach on Cavill Ave. plus a few "shacks".
My B in L was born, brought up & lived at Beaudesert & showed me some B&W Images. I hope Coloundra dosn't go the same way, but I bet it will.
