Good definition.

However, the WHO is not
'QUITE' seeing it - as we believe it used to... They don't agree with you
Today, on their site, they rabbit on about herd immunity
tied to vaccines. Period... No mention of getting immunity the Hard Way !
"What is herd immunity?
‘Herd immunity’, also known as ‘population immunity’, is a concept used for vaccination, in which a population can be protected from a certain virus if a threshold of vaccination is reached.
Herd immunity is achieved by protecting people from a virus, not by exposing them to it. Read the Director-General’s 12 October media briefing speech for more detail.
Vaccines train our immune systems to develop antibodies, just as might happen when we are exposed to a disease but – crucially – vaccines work without making us sick. Vaccinated people are protected from getting the disease in question. Visit our webpage on COVID-19 and vaccines for more detail.
"
And this is from where I copied the above. :-
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19): Serology, antibodies and immunity
(occasionally useful as they keep PREVIOUS data, tends to demolish denials. like.
"That was never on our website!" )
In the end, it matters less where a news piece appears, - Papers copy /quote /lift/ plagiarise from other media, shamelessly.. so a perfectly legit story finds it ways to
The Times...and '
Turgid Tales', .. but the stolen story is still . Legit.
Anyway, the fact (checked ...) is the WHO, is, by NOW omitting half the story..is removing a truth and leaving us with a biased position which just so happens to agree with it's largest single funding source. Who loves everything to do with VACCINES. As does the WHO. - Africa and India are two of their beneficiaries.
