Yes, not what we want to hear, for sure. Still it is not proven beyond doubt. It is becoming more and more evident from the US / UK experience, that hard lock downs and strict adherence to coronavirus protocols seem to work best . Having ad hoc protocols could be a recipe for disaster.

Previous work suggests the new variant spreads between 30% and 70% faster than others, and there are hints it is about 30% more deadly.

For example, with 1,000 60-year-olds infected with the old variant, 10 of them might be expected to die. But this rises to about 13 with the new variant.

This difference is found when looking at everyone testing positive for Covid, but analysing only hospital data has found no increase in the death rate. Hospital care has improved over the course of the pandemic as doctors get better at treating the disease.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Who will get the vaccines | Australian Government Department of Health

The EU just hit a 2nd hurdle- Bugger plus for them! A second coronavirus vaccine manufacturer has warned of supply issues, frustrating European Union efforts to distribute the jab.

UK drug-maker AstraZeneca said a production issue meant initial volumes would be lower than anticipated.

The European Commission said it was trying to obtain more information.

This comes on top of a halt to vaccinations in some parts of Europe due to a cut in deliveries of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. Link

Or the "Jabber Jabber Jabber said the monkey to the chimp, all day long they Jabbered away...... tum de da de tar d da.
    abba)'

Way down in the congo land sitting in a coconut tree,
There was a monkey and a chimp--and Lordy how she loved him.
Everynight in the pale moonlight sitting in the coconut tree,
These love words she always said to he... "Abba dabba dabba dabba dabba dabba dabba"
Said the monkey to the chimp.
"Abba dabba dabba dabba dabba dabba dabba"
Said the chimpee to the monk.
All night long they chattered away.
All day long they were happy and gay,
Swinging and swaying in a honky, tonky way.
"Abba dabba dabba dabba dabba dabba dabba"
Said the chimp, "I love but you."
Abba dabba dabba in monkey talk means
    "Chimp, I love you too."
Then the ol' baboon, one night in June,
    Married them and very soon,
They sailed away on an abba dabba honeymoon.

The odd bit of crap about even now Taste are individual of course means everyone may love stuff we do not like.

Just like choice to get back on track? The Shaman might argue the cllouds interfered with his life long Covid19 cure which missfired rather publicly?

"Sri Lanka's health minister, who endorsed herbal syrup to prevent Covid, has tested positive for the virus.

Pavithra Wanniarachchi tested positive on Friday, a media secretary at the Ministry of Health told the BBC.

She had promoted the syrup, manufactured by a shaman who claimed it worked as a life-long inoculation against the virus."

"We start with a baseless conspiracy revolving around Madagascar's President Andry Rajoelina, and the unproven herbal tonic, Covid-Organics, which he's promoting to treat coronavirus.

Social media posts have been circulating that claim he's being offered large amounts of money by the World Health Organization (WHO) to secretly poison the drink.

The baseless theory suggests that the WHO wants to prove that African countries can't be self-reliant and find their own cure for Covid-19.

It appears to have first appeared in a French-language post on a Facebook account that was operating from Angola and DR Congo on 23 April.

The claims were later published by two newspapers in Tanzania on 14 May. One of these reports alleges President Rajoelina had admitted - during an interview with France24 - that he'd been offered money."

It wouldn't be quite the same if it was played with a Mozart Backing.

First part yes - that’s why it’s taking so long to approve. Not only does all the data need to be analysed but so does anything that goes in it. The TGA has mountains of people working on this, they don’t just take the manufactures word for it.

Second part - extremely good guess based on decades vaccine works and experience.

I will of course take back all of this if we turn into zombies... 😇
