NSW has shown they can handle these small outbreaks well. We have to keep the border open, NRL super weekend coming up. If they need to lock down, a three day lock down has been shown to work. This has now been linked to Hotel quarantine, they are looking for a " missing link". Some restrictions are back until monday.

Masks, gatherings restricted as Sydney confirms second COVID case (thenewdaily.com.au)
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

You think so? I chatted with 3 worried people in Melb this morning who had all been in Sydney Friday- Sunday and now are wandering about a park in East Melbourne near my nice surgeons office. I hope your correct. I assume other options are just as likely this time again as we simply do not know.

I am not the stress head about him being early or late as long as its is not made a problem by him.

Poor gent might be confused about the different processes for Covid AstraZ and Covid Pfizer vaccines I understand. One goes in the bin if it goes sub Zero and the other goes in the bin if not sub zero plus plus plus

Mine is a nice 2 to 8 degrees with a Strive for 5 motto.

The Sydney weekend visitors chatting loudly this morning in the park are oddly more alarming in some ways

I hope so too. But going on the last 3 day lockdown here, where we did not know where we were headed, Good contact tracing and with the public doing all the right things, we came out OK. NSW has shown it can manage these small outbreaks well, and their public is well versed in what to do by now. So, all things being equal, just another bump in the road.

Good that you have now got that sorted bob. It was all in a clear & concise explanation at the end of the day.

J1 I do not understand your reply. Confusion has never been associated with Covid. I don't know where you got that idea from.

I'm not really the brightest bulb in the chandelier , Des. But I did learn in the Navy as a senior NCO, you get better results from clear and concise, rather than overbearing.

From 1 AM tomorrow, visitors to Qld who have been to exposure sites in Sydney will be required to go into quarantine.

Hotel quarantine looms for visitors linked to growing number of NSW virus sites (inqld.com.au)

Don't worry we all have those moments.

ie. Just got in the poo here from you know who 10 minutes ago, for leaving a window ajar with the AC running on heating. Wasn't even my window..

My retort that it was for the introduction of Fresh Air made no difference, a War Crime is still a War Crime.

Well I did have to think on my feet for that one.
