Vic has declared the ACT as an orange zone - got no idea why - we are not part of NSW. We are thinking of building a wall between Canberra and Queanbeyan to stop those nasty, contagious NSWelshmen out of Canberra.

I must admit I would probably need to get dunny paper next week so got a big pack today just in case things change.

    Sunday arvo....

We have just had ONE positive "test" here in WA. Chairman Mark has shut us down for 3 days effective from today, to allow contact tracers to unearth all those in DANGER.

Curious as to how many or your (Eastern States) "jab-ees" are having adverse reactions...
Have a mate / country town GP, who is having a hard time dealing with the now - daily presentation of older pts - with blood clots. From the JAB, jabs he himself gave them... the same one he was FORCED to have if he wanted to keep working,,,

Last time at Mataranka we camped under the stars, were woken early in the morning by some curious cattle. Good times.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Oh sure 😂 …well apart from climate change targets, renewable energy, EV infrastructure support, bushfire victim support, mouse plague, endangered species, migrant workers conditions, cultural diversity, University education, NDIS, JobKeeper rorting by big business, etc… I would suggest that the Covid19 response is but one symptom of a particular ethos / strategy.

ZIP adverse reactions in 500 plus jabs at my place. A few sore arms and flu like for a day was only mild side effects seen. The rumor of carnage to the Astra Zencca vaccine was glossly over played. Sad for the very few who did get impacted. No mater- it is going in the bin in Australia despite 10s of millions of people in the UK and else where getting it.

The US is considering allowing kids to get a vaccine despite anti vaxxer parents. Here I see a number of older people telling me their kids do not want them to get a vaccine. Happily they tell me that when they are getting theirs despite the volumes of bull ****e the kids are pestering them with

Amazing ,how many clots out of how many patients , I presume he is using the TF4 tests etc , are the local labs fairly quick at doing that or is it sent to a main centre?. Treatment?is that done locally or in a main centre? May figures , risk ratio overall 1 in 80000.... and 24 cases in ozzie so far, his eldery cohort must be really unlucky genetics wise with a ratio like of daily presentations, how people in the area etc? My friend from uni is in respiratory af Charlie Gairdner hospital in Perth, will get some info from him on the next skype call in a week or two as it will be a item of discussion I am sure.

Should have also bought some face masks - just learnt that even though we have no Covid here, we have to wear masks from midnight on public transport and indoors. So I am going to have to break that rule tomorrow to go and buy some masks - this is the first time we have had to wear masks here. Up to now COVID has been relatively impact free on ACT residents.
