    and Queensland is helping to save the game are they not…..wonder how many players are currently in the greater Sydney area?? And are allowed to travel to brisbane this week?? I’m reckoning there is some bending of the rules. I don’t follow league closely but I’m fairly certain Sydney are not in a controlled bubble since the hot spot was announced.

    Anna was even sending her love to the greater Sydney residents this morning….that’s a little odd.

    My guess is border will close either Thursday or Friday or if a regional hotspot develops…..which ever come first.

    Looking back at last year….state governments defiantly had a lot of say in how the game played out week to week……..indirectly controlling the part the viewer see on TV.

    Fine have a NRL bubble I don't give a rats. But why are they bring all their families? "Because they don't want them to be separated" What a load of hot bollocks!!!!!

    What about all the soldiers, sailors and airmen/women deployed overseas in the last 20+ years?? Separated from loved ones for periods up to 6 mths in hostile environments. And many on more that one occasion!!!

    It will only take one and QLD will be ****ed. Again.

    Too right there is, we have all seen that.

    This is the bit that will keep this thing rolling along. A Rule is a Rule & there should not be any bending of it except in the case of a dire emergency of which Border Force (who thought that name up when so called other "Forces" are reverting to "Service"? Even the Met is now a service.) is responsible for? There are nincompoops everywhere & Border Force would not be an exception IMHO.

    Help me out here please.... I'm seeing on that graphic, the initial - Yellow - restrictions had minimal effect, but the increasing 'lockdowns'... increased the rate of upward trajectory, as did the more intense.

    Are you allowing for the time between infection and symptoms and testing?
    Those measures don't have an instantaneous effect.

    The NRL has had every team in a controlled " bubble" since the pandemic began. Some players have done the wrong thing resulting in one being sacked from his club, and huge fines being given out. I have no idea what you are talking about above, can you make it clearer? Read about it here, don't make a story up, please. From THE ROAR;

    "The Commission has conducted an extensive risk assessment and it is clear from the current data trends that the risk to the competition is too great to continue playing in NSW right now. We are seeing close and casual contacts with links to our game on an almost daily basis." Said Chairman Peter V'landys.

    "Queensland presents much lower risk "

    NRL officially Queensland-bound for the next month (theroar.com.au)
