Orange NSW and Cabonne shire locked down from midnight. A delivery driver spread the virus to someone at the dog food plant at Blayney and then visited a few spots in Orange.

Not sure how you fix this - shut all transport down or deal with it as it arises? The whole country would stop in a couple of days if all exempt transport was stopped, think you've got issues getting poo tickets now....

Nope, its not a rumour, the numbers have been exaggerated, yesterday i heard 16, this morning i hear the numbers were 2. Then it's been found that the guy that came up from sydney with it has been working on a largish building site here. Will find out more tomorrow i guess

Truck drivers crossing into Qld have been found falsifying their border passes. Not much you can do if people are prepared to lie. 29 drivers stopped at the border.

Yep, its all locked down here now. Orange, Blayney and Cabonne. There are a few businesses literally right now doing deep cleaning. Everything is on hold for 1 week, I expect longer. I'm not sure about other schools but our school has just closed and everyone needs to be out by 3pm tommorrow. Although the Purina driver in Blayney was legit, he may not have done best practice I guess and there have been too many people coming out from Sydney without reason. They didn't need to bring the virus out and kill our community as well. The police have pulled up and turned around so many selfish people out this way. Hopefully we can be a case study on prompt lockdowns and effective isolating generating a positive result.

Thanks Chris, its pretty upsetting, especially because people here have all been doing the right thing from what I could see. Will see how it all goes, fingers crossed!
