And now the Melbourne town hall vaccination hub had to close because of protesters have abused the staff by throwing water on them and spitting on them. These hubs are set up for the homeless etc. These nurses are our front line to all this along with drs, ambos, police, ect. I can not understand some people, just makes me mad how some people treat other people. Heather

On my little stats a public holiday here had my building scheduled to be empty. Never waste an opportunity I thought. 90 plus jabbed today and just shy of 200 fully or a few weeks away from fully vaccinated. Tight arse me paid Doctors and Nurse and did the front desk stuff with out triple time for my crew. They had offered to help. I pointed out I pay them for not being at work today so double time is normal time

My tight arse is saved ?

Ironically I noted for almost the first time I have done the Pre 21:00 report demanded /asked /required questions I need to provide as do all the nutty vaccine places.
A big Saturday session then Melbourne or the Dogs?

My kids pup used as a post Vax nutty day therapy dog - a Scotch is on the bench

I didn't know dogs were allowed in Houston Control?

I wonder if those three started out as the proverbial "8 year old kids"?

Good luck to them if they can make a Motza out of their work.

So hopefully you NSW peoples will stop infecting us poor people in the ACT when they came across the border.

We have been in lockdown for, what 6 weeks now, and rolling infection rates in the ACT seemed to unchanged - not going up or down so current strategy is not working in lowering rates - seems the system starts to get on top of the ACT cases and someone comes in from NSW (with a permit or not) and starts a new infection. We have random border checks and maybe it is time to make these more permanent (I would still let the Totes in though ).

The other problem is that infected patients from SE NSW who need more advanced treatment are starting to flood our ACT hospital system with flow on effects for local residents.

We have at least another 3 weeks in lockdown and if trends continue with no change in strategy I think we will be in lockdown for a lot longer.

The main issue for me is Bunnings is closed to the general public and I am still waiting for a Click and Collect order for a week now. Bunnings have closed all communications avenues so I cannot even check up on what is happening. I am considering doing a charge back through Paypal but the goods I have ordered are only sold by Bunnings (and ebay).

I've been watching the Mayor, erm, Chief Minister with interest. It seems that ACT isn't getting ahead of the numbers and I wonder where it will end up. Maybe Yass will be out of lockdown on Tuesday, if not it looks like the whole state will be by early October and I'm wondering where that will leave the ACT? Barr seems to be on a zero covid strategy which is clearly not working and he seems reluctant to chart a way out of lockdown when the ACT has the leading percentage of vaccinated citizens. The decision to not allow schools back until at least week 4 of next term which is 5 weeks away doesnt bode too well for Canberrans sick of lockdown but by that time they will be well over the 80% vaccinated figure.

P.S. You can lock me out if it makes you happy
