Suits me just fine ,Who in their right mind would want to travel to COV19 central from WA anyway
I can travel thousands of kilometres and still be in the same State without ANY fear of getting COV19.
The WA economy if Billions of dollars in the black still , Unlike many other States.

99.99% of the "Whinging" about WA's closed border is coming from the Eastern seaboard, West Australian's as a whole are quite happy to keep this virus at bay.

According to those who actually know about these things, hospitalisations can occur up to 28 days after infection. Quoting hospitalisations now is rather foolish. Let's have a look in January.

There is, supposedly from Einstein, a quote " The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over , expecting different results. ". I wouldn't subscribe to that . I think, at worst, doing the same thing over & over & expecting different results is foolish. You could accuse the person of poor judgement, or of being slow learners, but as unfortunate as being foolish, it's hardly insane. Lots of foolishness in Australia ATM.

It's pretty easy to run a huge surplus when you're not spending it on essential services... like the health system for example.

I'll take a cave in the West over the viral loaded atmosphere south of us, for sure.

the people of WA aren't burdening their health system.

I really wish we'd stuck to our guns and kept the border closed to NSW and Vic. ,, but Anna didn't ask us.....a referendum would have told her , but most political leaders are **** scared of referendums.

It is sad that Anna caved into the pressure from the federal gov and the incessant whining for the States to the south and opened up the border at this time.
I would hazard to guess that this is most definately Not a popular decision amongst the QLD population.

I'll hop in one of those ones in Broome, the Roebuck Bay was quite lively back in the 80's. Or that old pub in Derby, good times had there.

Derby and Whyndham havent changed that much since the eighties and are still a fantastic place to visit/fish from But I doubt that you would recognise Broome anymore unfortunately.
For me Onslow is the "New" Broome now
