I told my doctor I have a problem with my left ear.
"Are you sure?", he asked.
I said, "yes, I'm definite".

When I lost the fingers on my right hand in a work accident, I asked my doctor it I'd still be able to write with it.
He said probably, but I couldn't count on it.
